ASTRAFIT – Privacy Policy

AstraFit is developed and maintained by Astroblaze Technology LLC, a company registered in Indiana, USA, operating under the project initiative Velchi AI. Velchi AI refers to the internal product and development team responsible for AstraFit and its digital services. Astroblaze Technology LLC may also operate other services unrelated to AstraFit under separate business verticals, including consulting and engineering.

Velchi AI (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how AstraFit (the “App”) collects, stores, uses, and safeguards your data. It applies to all users worldwide and complies with applicable laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and relevant U.S. privacy regulations.

By using AstraFit, you explicitly consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your data as described herein. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

We collect two categories of data:

A. Personal Data (Remote / Server-Side)

Stored securely on Firebase servers:

• Full Name

• Email Address

• Encrypted Password

• Unique User Identifier (UID)

• Reward points or incentive metrics

• Acceptance of Terms and Waivers (with timestamps)
  
  

Security Note: Passwords are encrypted with Firebase Authentication’s secure hashing protocol. No plaintext passwords are stored.

B. Sensitive & Wellness Data (Local / Device-Only)

Stored locally on your device in encrypted form:

• Body metrics (weight, height, age, gender, body frame size)

• Fitness data (steps, exercise duration, calories burned)

• Dietary and hydration data (food logs, water intake, meal plans, grocery lists)

• BMI and body size tracking

Important: This data is processed only on your device. It is never transmitted to our servers and is permanently deleted upon uninstallation. Users are solely responsible for device security.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Personal Data: Account creation, login authentication, reward management, compliance documentation.

• Wellness Data: To provide personalized in-app experiences, track progress, and deliver feedback, all locally on your device.

• Consent Flags (T&C, Waivers): Legal compliance and recordkeeping.
  
  

4. Legal & Medical Disclaimer

AstraFit is a general wellness tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or regulated health services. You must consult a licensed healthcare provider before starting any health program.

Clarifications:

• We do not collect or process Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA or special-category data under GDPR for medical purposes.

• Any wellness data you input is strictly for informational, motivational, and tracking purposes. It will not be analyzed, shared, or used to draw clinical conclusions.

5. Data Security

We implement robust security measures:

• Remote Data: Stored on Firebase with encryption and access controls.

• Local Data: Encrypted using platform-specific mechanisms (e.g., Android Keystore).

• Data in Transit: All communication with servers or APIs is encrypted via HTTPS.
  
  

Disclaimer: No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access, malware, or OS-level breaches.

6. Data Retention

• Account Data: Retained while your account is active or until deletion is requested.

• Local Wellness Data: Automatically deleted upon app uninstallation.

• Deletion Requests: Users can request deletion of personal data by contacting velchiai@gmail.com. Requests will be completed within 7 business days, including removal from backups where feasible.
  
  

7. International Data Storage & Transfer

Remote data is stored on secure U.S.-based Firebase servers. By using AstraFit, you explicitly consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the United States, regardless of your location. This transfer may involve a lower level of data protection than in your home country; however, we implement strong safeguards to protect your data.

8. Third-Party Services

AstraFit integrates with certain third-party services to provide functionality:

• Firebase: Authentication and cloud storage (data: email, UID).

• Food Central API: Provides nutrition and food information (data: queries only; no personal data shared).

• OpenAI GPT API: Generates suggestions, recipes, and personalized content (data: anonymous queries).

No Personal Data Monetization: We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal or wellness data.

9. Children’s Privacy

AstraFit is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Any inadvertently collected data will be deleted immediately upon discovery.

10. User Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including:

• Accessing personal data we hold about you

• Correcting inaccurate data

• Requesting deletion of your account or local data

• Withdrawing consent, where applicable

11. Data Loss & User Responsibility

• Users are responsible for maintaining device security.
