This Privacy Policy outlines the types of data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By downloading, installing, or using AstraFit (the "App"), you agree to be bound by this privacy policy. If you do not agree with our privacy policy, you should not use the App. Velchi AI reserves the right to update the privacy policy at any time, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Information We Collect and Transfer 

• Personal Data: We collect the following personal information, which is stored securely on Firebase and used for your account identification:

  • User Name

  • Email

  • Password

  • Your Reward Points

Please note that we store your personal information for as long as your account is active or until you request deletion.

3. Information We DO NOT Transfer :

Non-Personal Data: The following data is collected and stored locally on your device using SQLite databases using encryption. This data is only accessible to you, and we do not collect or transfer it to our servers. This data is automatically deleted once the App is removed or uninstalled from your device:

• • Body weight, body frame size, height, age, date of birth, gender

  • Routine activity level, weekdays and weekend activity levels

  • Exercise habits, water intake, daily calorie consumption, calorie goals

  • Food preferences, grocery lists, personal reminders, recipes of interest

4. How We Use Your Information

• Locally Stored Data: All data stored locally is used to enhance your experience within the app, including tracking fitness progress, managing dietary preferences, and personalizing reminders.

• Firebase Stored Data: We use the data stored in Firebase for account management and login purposes.

• Potential Future Use: While we do not currently use your data for analytics or marketing, we may consider collecting aggregated, non-personal data in the future to improve the app. Any changes to data collection practices will be communicated to you, and you will have the option to opt out.

5. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services that may collect information:

• Firebase: For login credentials and personal account management.

• Food Central API: For registering personal accounts and retrieving food-related information.

• OpenAI GPT API: For providing recipe and food-related suggestions.

While we take every precaution to ensure the security of your data when interacting with these services, please note that these third-party services may have their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing these policies for more information on how your data is handled. We ensure that all interactions with these services are secure; however, we cannot be held responsible for any data breaches that may occur on their end. 

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

• Data Sharing: We do not share your data with third parties, except for necessary interactions with Firebase, Food Central API, and OpenAI, as described above. 

• Legal Compliance: We are committed to protecting your data. However, if required by law or legal process, we may be obligated to disclose your information to comply with legal obligations. 

7. Data Security

• Data Protection: We use industry-standard encryption to secure your data both in transit and at rest. Your data is stored in encrypted SQLite databases on your device to ensure its protection. 

• Data Retention: We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you choose to delete your account, your data will be permanently deleted within one week of your request. 

8. User Rights

• Access and Update:You can access and update your personal information within the app settings at any time. 

• Opt-Out: Currently, we do not collect additional data beyond what is necessary for app functionality. Should this change, you will have the option to opt out by contacting us at velchiai@gmail.com. 

• Data Deletion: If you wish to delete your personal data or account, you can contact us at velchiai@gmail.com, and we will process your request promptly. 

9. Children's Privacy

This application is not intended for use by children under the age of 18 and is designed for a mature audience. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a user under the age of 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be communicated to you via email and/or in-app notifications.
